What's in store for you as a member of EROPA? Here are some of the ways by which EROPA nurtures the competencies and skills of its members in the field of public administration and governance. Opportunity to join/co-host Regional Conferences For a discounted fee (up to US$ 50 less), EROPA members get the chance to join annual conferences conducted by EROPA. As a member, you get to meet and learn from public administration scholars and practitioners in the region, and share knowledge, practices and insights in the field. Each year, a relevant theme and a host country within the Asia-Pacific region is chosen. The list of conferences are available online. State (country) members have the opportunity to host these conferences, and nominate network members. Linkages and networking opportunities
EROPA has a vast network of NGOs, government agencies, academic institutions, policy leaders and experts working in public administration and governance. Furthermore, EROPA is maintaining a database called EROPA ExP (EROPA Experts and Practitioners) that taps available specialists that accommodate to individuals and institutions in need of technical assistance in different fields of public administration. Members can apply to be one of the experts/consultants in EROPA ExP. EROPA Bulletin and Asian Review of Public Administration The Asian Review of Public Administration (annual subscription fee is US$ 30) is the flagship journal publication of EROPA, which synthesizes relevant ideas and developments in public administration and governance. Members are entitled to a free copy of the journal, released twice in a year. Latest updates, trends, news, and developments in EROPA are provided through the EROPA Bulletin. Members are entitled to a copy of the newsletter, released quarterly. Members are also entitled to free copies of other EROPA publications. |
