ASIAN LEADERSHIP FORUM
One of the highlights of the annual international conference is the Asian Leadership Forum (ALF). The ALF is a platform for policy leaders in the Asia Pacific region to discuss important issues in Public Administration and Governance. In this special session, ministers, vice-ministers, parliamentarians, governors, city mayors, etc. can share their respective views in the field.

10TH ASIAN LEADERSHIP FORUM
On September 24, 2019, Jules Guiang - an alumnus of the University of the Philippines' National College of Public Administration and Governance (the host for the conference) chaired the Asian Leadership Forum. The topic was on "Young and Emerging Leaders". President Cecilia Garrucho of the Philippine Educational Theater Association delved into the unlikely relationship between theater and Public Administration. Other speakers who confirmed but were not able to make it due to different emergency situations are Mayor Francisco M. Domagoso of the Local Government of Manila and Director-General Serey Chea of the National Bank of Cambodia. |

9TH ASIAN LEADERSHIP FORUM
On September 18, 2018, day three of the annual international conference of EROPA, a plenary session was chaired by Commissioner Prijono Tjiptoherijanto of the Indonesia Civil Service Commission. The topic was "Phronetic Leadership in Responding to Global Megatrends". Speakers were I Gdo Pitana, of the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, District Head Hasto Wardoyo of Kulon Progo of Indonesia and Dr. Alex B. Brillantes, Jr. of the University of the Philippines. |

8th ASIAN LEADERSHIP FORUM
Chaired by Dr. Akira Nakamura, Professor Emeritus at Meiji University, the 8th forum (September 2017) featured Dr. Iljae Kim, Deputy Minister for Government Innovation and Organization Management Office, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Republic of Korea, Mr. Alikhan Baimenov, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana, Kazakhstan, Mr. Youk Bunna, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Civil Service, Cambodia, and Prof. Akihide Hirashima, Professor Emeritus at Rikkyo University, Japan. |
