The Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (EROPA), in partnership with the Philippine Society for Public Administration (PSPA), successfully held the 2025 PSPA–EROPA Joint International Conference at the People’s Center and Summit Hotel in Tacloban City, Philippines, last October 1-3, 2025.

Guided by the conference theme, “Public Administration in the Age of Populism, Polycrisis, and Technological Transformation: Dilemmas, Dynamics, and Directions,” the event served as a timely platform for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, educators, and young professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue on the evolving challenges confronting governance systems worldwide. The conference was attended by more than 500 participants and featured 135 paper presenters, 15 plenary speakers, and 17 sub plenary panelists, organized across 4 plenary sessions, 4 sub plenary sessions, 27 panel sessions, and 11 thematic areas on populism, ethics and accountability, crisis management, technological innovation, state of the global sustainable development goals (SDGs), and standards of excellence for public administration education and training.
