Call for Papers – APAG Journal of State Management
The Journal of State Management (JSM) invites submissions of original, high-quality research articles that contribute to advancing knowledge and practice in public administration and governance. The journal serves as an international academic platform for theory-driven and empirically grounded studies, with a particular focus on Vietnam and comparative perspectives. Areas of interest include: institutional reform and administrative modernization; decentralization and multi-level governance; public policy analysis, implementation, and evaluation; digital government and innovation in the public sector; regulatory governance and administrative law; human resource management and ethics; and governance for sustainable and inclusive development. Interdisciplinary and comparative research, as well as studies employing rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods with clear theoretical and policy contributions, are especially encouraged.
All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Manuscripts should demonstrate a clear research question, solid theoretical grounding, transparent methodology, and meaningful contributions to academic literature and policy practice. JSM applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent reviewers, including international experts where appropriate, and adheres to international standards on publication ethics, including plagiarism screening, data transparency, and proper citation (APA style). The journal encourages submissions in English (preferred) and accepts Vietnamese manuscripts with extended English abstracts to enhance global accessibility. Detailed author guidelines and submission procedures are available on the journal’s website.
